BC Science Research Day 2026!

The Spring 2026 semester ended with the 2026 REU cohort and various Rabin lab members presenting their research at the Annual Brooklyn College Science Research Day. We are immensely proud of every single one of the students and wish them the best in their careers and academics. Additionally, we are proud to announce that:
REU student Naomi Hymowitz won 3rd place overall in the undergraduate poster division with their abstract titled "Crayfish chronotypes and behavior"
Rabin Lab student Anita Kamal won 2nd place overall in the undergraduate poster division with their abstract titled "The impact of experimental learning on student engagement and comprehension in a psychology of aging course"
Rabin Lab student Nawal Mohamed won 1st place overall in the graduate poster division with their abstract titled "A referral snapshot: Faculty knowledge and practices referring students to campus counseling services at Brooklyn College"
