REU Students take 2023 Science Day by storm!

On Friday, May 12th, 2023, our Brooklyn College REU students had the honor and pleasure of presenting their poster presentations to peers, faculty, and, the community, at the 2023 Brooklyn College Science Day. The BC REU students worked hard and diligently to ensure that their posters were of the highest quality and their hard work has paid off!

We also congratulate our BC REU students and past instructor who were honored with awards at Science Day!:

Congratulations to Noah Hussein who received 2nd place in the undergraduate poster division! Noah works with Dr. Delamater and presented "Neutral basis of reward timing prediction errors in Pavlovian learning".

Congratulations to Hannah Bodek who received 3rd place in the undergraduate poster division! Hannah works with Dr. Rabin and presented "Association between social vulnerability and susceptibility in non-demented older adults".

We are tremendously proud of all the work our students have produced and are equally as excited to see them continue on their journeys. Moreover, we thank all the mentors and staff who have helped to build and further the mission of the BC REU program. Science is collaborative and we are happy to keep this sentiment alive. We can't wait for next year!
